Sherwood Estates II Homeowners' Association is a group of 86 residences located between Route FM 3040 and Morriss Road in the Town of Flower Mound. Entrances are from Morris Road at Golden Arrow Drive and from FM 3040 at Lockesley Drive. The following residences are included in the HOA: All residents on the west side of Lockesley Drive, Both sides of Kings Forest Lane and Golden Arrow Drive, The east side of Nottingham Street (north of Forest Glen) and the first three residences on Robin Lane going from Golden Arrow Drive.
The Association was founded December 17, 1992. We were the first Homeowners' Association that was a requirement prior to beginning construction of any group of homes within The Town of Flower Mound.
Our Homeowners' Association is a deed restricted community governed by the By Laws and Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions on file with the Denton County Real Property Records. These restrictions and regulations serve to protect our neighborhood appearance and value which is beneficial to us all.
We are fortunate to be located in the Town of Flower Mound, as they are very active in providing services and access to activities for people of all ages. The Town Community Activities Center is just under 1 mile south on Morriss Road/ Gerault Road and the Senior Center is located on the southeast corner of Morriss Road and Cross Timbers Road, (FM 1171).
The Homeowners Association has two GARAGE SALES each year, usually in April and October. We will email all members of the dates as well as publish them in the "Upcoming Events" block on our Home Page and put up banners at each neighborhood entrance one week before the sale.
