My fence needs repair/replacement, do I need approval from the HOA?"

Accepted Answer

Yes, if you are replacing it you will also need a permit from the Town of Flower Mound.  You can link to the Town of Flower Mound by clicking on the Links on the left side of this page.  See Section 6.4 of the Covenants Conditions and Restrictions.  You may view these by clicking on the HOA Documents page.  You should also talk to your neighbors who share the fence with you.

Can we add a storage shed on our lot?

Accepted Answer

Yes, however there are certain restrictions.  Please review the Covenants Conditions and Restrictions by clicking on the HOA Documents on the left of this page.  The shed must be in the back yard and not visible from the street.  The Town of Flower Mound also has restrictions regarding a shed.  You can link to the Town by clicking on the Links section on the left side of this page.

Can I store a boat or RV in my driveway or beside my house?

My sidewalk is in need of repair, who is responsible and who do I contact?"

Accepted Answer

Sidewalks are the responsibility of the Homeowner in the Town of Flower Mound.  Please see the "Important Information" block on the Home Page, there are some important links to the Town Of Flower Mound Ordinances and information on how the Town can work with you in getting these repairs done.

Can we park RV's, boats trailers or automobiles overnight?"

Accepted Answer

We are considering making a change to the outside of our home, who must we get approval from?"

Approval must be obtained from The Homeowners Association and The Town of Flower Mound.  See Section 1 of the Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions. Trash carts must not be left on the street for more than 24 Hours.
 
Permits are required for any type of modification to your home or property, fence replacements, additions or roof replacements.
 
The police department will do home checks while you are away.
 
Town ordinances can be viewed online using the Towns website.
 
Toll tags can be purchased at Town Hall at the Utility Bill Counter.
 
Monitored and audible alarms must be registered annually.
 
All dogs are required to be on a leash.
